"Kirkwood is Calling"

The original painting is about the peaceful moment at Kirkwood when the crowds are gone and I get to just enjoy the open slopes. It may not be the best powder day, but its that retreat from everything where I just feel one with the mountain. Whenever I get stuck in the day to day grind, I glance at this painting and feel that Kirkwood is calling me back to take a few runs.
